The shark pup opens the burger box and licks his lips before eating his special birthday burger. This angers the father shark, and he repeatedly yells at him, angering the mother shark, to which she says many times: 'Don't you yell at my baby!'. Right before turning to get onto the dock, the mother gives in and tells her son that he can eat his meal if he stops whining. Inside the car, the shark pup is arguing with his father, saying he wants to eat his birthday meal right there in the car instead of waiting to get home. They race to stop the speeding car, which is heading back to the ocean.

The shark family of a mother, father, and an impatient son buy the burger by drive-thru and are constantly arguing with each other during the entire episode. Suddenly, the team realizes that 'kid on a bun' meant a literal kid, and that kid being Kuki.

Soon, Wallabee points out the car full of sharks. Numbuhs 1, 2, and 5 begin to wonder about the meaning of this advert. While sitting outside the restaurant, Nigel examines the sign in front, which reads: 'Try Our New Kids Meal! Kids Meal Contains 1 Drink, 1 Toy, and 1 Kid On A Bun'. Meanwhile, the rest of Sector V are getting restless, frustrated that Kuki can't even get a simple kids' meal (to which Hoagie speculates that there 'must be a long line'). Chester gives them the box (the one he trapped Kuki in) and the father shark gives him some gold coins, as they drive off.

While Kuki is inside, the other operatives praise Nigel for tricking her into believing that she is completing a 'dangerous mission'.

Kuki goes in to complete the mission, while the others remain behind. The operatives arm themselves and invade a fast-food joint. Kuki starts crying, which forces Nigel (who sympathizes with Kuki) into giving her a dangerous mission. Wallabee then insults Kuki, insisting that she cannot actually lead a mission on her own. The team is shocked at this, as Hoagie and Wallabee thinking she'd want flowers or a unicorn or something similar to her tastes. Her wish this year is to direct a mission. It's Kuki's (Numbuh 3) 10th birthday, and, as Kids Next Door tradition, her birthday wish is granted by her fellow operatives. The restaurant is shown to actually be for sharks, with kids on the menu as murdering, thanks to a new money-making scheme by Chester. Numbuh 3 is sent on a mission for her birthday: to get a fast food meal.
